Bookending this post are obligatory shots of an international Big Mac, this time from Madrid, Spain. I found this particular sandwich to lean more toward the vinegar side for their Special Sauce. The effect was a fast food burger that was rather bland in flavor. I lean on the sweetness and tang of the Special Sauce to offset the very dull taste of McDonald’s standard burger patties. That was lacking here. Oh well, the worst Big Mac is still better than a lot of other foods!

Had I more time in Madrid I might’ve sampled more items. I’m particularly curious about the Big New York Beef burger pictured above. Let’s close out with a shot of the Big Mac meal and ad for the three Mac sizes as Madrid joins in the 50th birthday of the beloved sandwich.
