We recently introduced Cook Out to the Fast Food Source family, and now it’s time to look at the food. For $4.99, you can pick from this menu:
As you can see, you are able to mix and match some interesting combinations including a bunch of chicken items which can count as sides. Very generous for the price.
The regular hamburger is 1/4 lb and you pick the toppings. I opted for all the usual ones: lettuce, tomato, pickles, grilled onions, mustard and mayo. Cheese was added for only 40 cents.
The cheeseburger, despite the 1/4 lb heft of the patty, felt small in size, much like a deluxe value-menu burger you’d find at other fast food chains. However, it was juicy and quite tasty. The melted cheese and grilled onions on my burger just pulled it all together and my chosen sides: fries and onion rings, left me satisfied at the end of the meal. I have to keep coming back to this – for only $4.99 (plus 40 cents for the cheese) this is a good deal.
I’ll also review the BBQ sandwich in an upcoming article. This is a good start, Cook Out!
