The Arby’s Chicken Bacon Swiss sandwich is a fast food item that’s been on the menu for decades. I can remember eating this sandwich back in the ’90’s and enjoying the fact that they make honey mustard a standard topping instead of the ubiquitous mayo at other chains.
The sandwich is simple, honey mustard, shredded lettuce, and tomato on the bottom; bacon, Swiss cheese, and more honey mustard on the top, all surrounding a crispy chicken breast.
It’s tasty too. The fried chicken breast is usually juicy and the toppings are generous. It’s not as big as some other fast food chicken sandwiches, but it packs a punch for its small size. Nutritionally, it packs a punch as well, with 610 calories, 30 grams of fat, 9 grams of saturated fat, 85mg of cholesterol and a whopping 1390mg of sodium. But if that all bothers you, skip the side item, which would inevitably be a fried something anyway, and you’ll feel a little better.
After all these years, the Arby’s Chicken Bacon Swiss sandwich is still a winner worth a try and a great alternative to the standard beef items or Market Fresh sandwiches you might otherwise think of ordering. So don’t pass it by.
